Introduction

My name is Cainneach 'O Donnchadha. But I guess “Cain” sounds better...
Not sure where to begin from here...
Gary said it would be good to get into this...
Well, I suppose prison would be the place to start.
I was recently incarcerated. For... reasons...
I don't care to talk about what prison was like. Not very fun... Especially when you're cellmate is an insane neo-Nazi. Not good company.
What I do wanna talk about is how I got out. It was after one of the fights. I was thrown in the “Hole”. Have you ever watched a prison movie? Then you should know what the “Hole” is. It's an easier way of saying “Solitary Confinement”.
I don't know how long they had me there. Time kinda gets weird when your alone in a dimly lit room for long enough. But I do know that at some point, He came. Just kinda stepped out of thin air into the middle of the room.
He stood tall. I've seen a lot of tall, but God damn, He was something else. I could swear the ceiling curved upward to give him room to stand. He was dressed in a spotless black suit, with a red tie. His head was a blank slate. No hair. No mouth. No eyes or ears.
Now, I'm not an idiot. I knew who He was right off the bat. I've been online. I've heard of Him. I had a pretty good idea what He was. But actually seeing Him in real life was... overwhelming...
Without a word, He raised a hand, and the air split in two, parting like a curtain to reveal a dirt trail, stretching into a vast black forest. Then He was gone, leaving that weird gate there.
I got up. It seemed stupid, I know. But at the time, stepping through that opening seemed a lot more promising than sitting there stewing in my own madness for the rest of however long they planned to keep me there. So I stepped through.
The gate closed almost instantly behind me. There was no way back to the cell. It took time for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. It took me even longer to realize that the moon I was looking at wasn't a moon. It was His head, far off in the distance, down the path. I started running toward Him. I seemed to be getting closer, but as soon as I blinked, He was further away. I kept running, only for Him to keep growing further and further. And then, without warning, the air split apart again and I found myself in the middle of an empty city street, late at night.
I didn't know what exactly to do after that. Did I owe Him for that? Was I His servant now? Did He expect me to come find him? I wasn't sure. Either way, I figured I'd look into him some more. And that started with the symbols.
I'm sure you've seen it. An X and a circle. I've seen then a lot, but I never paid much attention to them. But I started to. And eventually they led me to places. Places where servants gather. Servants of things called Fears. Apparently He's not the only creepy monster out there.
Anyway, after months of talking to different people, and asking about Him, I stumbled across Gary. In was in one of those servant clubs, and some guys pointed me in his direction. Turns out, Gary was one of His servants. He gave me an address and told me to meet there on a certain day if I was interested in repaying Him.
That “certain day” was a couple of weeks ago. And I wasn't the only one asked to meet there. There was some other woman, named Max, who served another Fear and decided to change side. We met Gary at an abandoned warehouse. He led us in, and introduced us to our team. A whole group of people who work for Him. Gary had been sent out intentionally to find new members. Meaning us.
Gary's a cool guy. About my age, with a shock of scarlet hair. They call him Gamer. Because that's pretty much his gimmick. He plays a lot of video games, has an arsenal of video game themed weapons, and even owns a mask in the shape of Pac Man. They all have masks, but apparently they don't see much use.
There's also one called Sound. I never see much of him. He hides out in the rafters, and doesn't come down when either of us new guys are around. He hides in the shadows up there, obscured from view, but from what I've seen, it looks like he has wings. Probably just a trick of the shadows...
Probably...
Then there's Amelia, a.k.a. Psycho Bitch. She seems... kind of crazy... She's a little older than me and Gary, but acts younger. She also has those symbols painted on her nails. How the hell does she find the time to do that?
And there's this other guy called... Guy. That's seriously what they call them. Apparently, the big guy Himself assigned him to this team. He wears a sparring helmet to conceal his face, and he desn't talk. He just sits by the wall unless given an order, in which case he'll generally obey.
And then there's Lotus. She's kind of the team babysitter. And a regular babysitter... Seriously, if she's not at the base, she's off watching our bosses son.
Oh yeah, then we have the boss. Not the tall guy Himself. He's more of an off-ite manager, I guess. Our boss is Myrir Serena, a.k.a. The Butterfly. She made the last post, and I guess this is her account I'm posting on...
She's a strong woman. Everyone here respects her (except maybe Amelia), and for good reason. I've only been here a couple weeks, but she's already proved that she is a stubborn leader who doesn't take anyone's bullshit (especially from Amelia).
So... I'm a member of the party, now, I guess. And I'll be working to pay Him back for busting me out... s soon as he gives us orders... We're kind of just hanging out here for now...
We have been training here, though. Gary's teaching me to wield a Nerf sword. I'm becoming slightly competent with it. He says I can start on Nerf gun training if I keep this up.

It's good to be back

Now, I feel like my other blog had a certain finale to it. Also it was not just my blog it was O'Zalia's as well, so I feel like it'd be odd to start blogging there again. Besides, there's a lot of stuff going on.

It feels good to have a blog again, everyone else has returned from the ashes of offline-ism, so I think it's only right I do the same.

Isaac is now two years old and is such an angel in my life. Makes me feel sad that his father doesn't get to see him grow up.

My life since I last blogged has been rather mellow, like at least compared to what it used to be. We still have our lil "rebel" group and even added two new members, whose name escapes me.

More to come!
